[ A photo file for the people who enjoy photography with SIGMA. ]

I have come to know the joy of lenses, whether long or short.

The first SIGMA lens I purchased was the APO 50-500mm F4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM. I had wanted to take pictures of children playing soccer, so I wanted a focal distance greater than that from a standard telephoto lens. But I was surprised that I was able to get extraordinary images that brought me much closer to the action. During a school field day relay for example, I was able to capture the nerves as well as the excitement of the children, as if their faces were right in front of me, at times I could not see through the finder as I became misty-eyed by what I saw. I recall feeling that the focal distance of the lens brought us closer. Now my lens is joined by the 24mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art. Though it is a wide angle lens, I am taken by the remarkable F1.4 aperture and the smooth depth of finish.
